Editorial Policy

This page describes how content on ResumeBanao is created, reviewed, updated, and corrected. We follow it because we want every piece you read here to genuinely help you get hired — not chase keywords.

Who writes our content

Every editorial article (i.e., guides, blog posts, comparisons) is written by a named human author with a profile page, real photo, and verifiable credentials. We do not use ghost authors or anonymous bylines for editorial content.

Programmatic pages (e.g., resume templates by role and city) are generated from a structured template + curated data, then human-reviewed in batches of 50–100. Each page must pass our quality gate (word count, uniqueness, internal-link count, schema validity) before being published.

Where our facts come from

Salary, hiring, and labour-market data is sourced from primary sources — NASSCOM, Naukri JobSpeak, LinkedIn Workforce Reports, the Ministry of Labour, and official company career pages. Every cited statistic links back to its primary source.

How we use AI

We use AI assistants (large language models) to draft, edit, and rewrite text. AI never publishes directly to readers — every page passes through a human review with a published byline. We disclose AI assistance on the relevant article footers when material AI authoring occurred.

For our resume tailoring product itself, the AI rephrases and re-ranks your existing experience — it never invents claims. This is our truthfulness guard, and it is non-negotiable.

Corrections

If you find an error, email editorial@resumebanao.app with the URL and the issue. We update the page and add a "Corrected on [date]" note when the correction is non-trivial.

Updates

Evergreen content is reviewed at least once per year. Time-sensitive content (salary data, hiring trends, company-specific guides) is reviewed quarterly. The "Last updated" date on each article reflects the most recent substantive review — we do not refresh dates without actually re-reviewing the content.

Independence

Sponsored posts, affiliate placements, and commercial relationships are clearly labeled. Our editorial recommendations are not influenced by who pays us. If we recommend a third-party tool, we'll say so — and disclose any commercial relationship in the article.
